COBA offers high quality dance education that is supported by a legacy of African history. The primary training mechanism for African and Caribbean dance forms is A-Feeree. Developed by COBA's artistic co-founder Bakari E. Lindsay and taught exclusively at COBA Studios, A-Feeree conditions a dancers' body to navigate the aesthetics of African and African Diasporic dances. This unique training method draws on the traditional dance culture of Africa's Séné-Gambia region as well as indigenous folk dances from Trinidad & Tobago.
