Our aspirations, our plans for the future - As BaKari spoke about, as always looking back at our past, there's the dream and the visions of the future that our children and our children's children continue this legacy that we have started and we have planted the seed. But there's that hope for continuity, so whenever the day comes where it's our time to move on, to meet our ancestors, that there are many, many people, many hands, many hearts, many spirits, there willing to take up the mantle and move forward with the intention of education at the forefront and moving in terms of the creation and the advancement of African aesthetic dance form, still remembering our history and our traditional forms, whether it's traditional West African or Caribbean indigenous dance, the necessity of always referencing our legacy and our history but moving it and making it current within that time.
