Choreographic Statement:
This piece intends to demonstrate the connection and perpetual respect between ourselves, human beings, and our divinities. Everyday in our lives we call them, and pray to them to protect us with their love... "Hommage a Erzulie" is a tribute to the most beautiful, beloved woman (lady) in the Universe des Laos (deity). Seeing her; smelling her perfume clear you space and illuminates your way with the charm and power of her lovely husband Papa Legba. Maitresse Erzulie ... Lively, Compassionate, Joyful.
