Debbie began her formal dance training in 1997 as a performing apprentice with COBA. Since then, she has grown artistically by acting in various professional theatre productions in Toronto. In 2006, she played the lead in her first film as Harriet Tubman , in Seth Adrian Harris' "When Moses Woke".
